Matthew 24:14 says "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness
unto all nations; and then shall the end come." Is there any doubt that we are in the very last of the last days? The remaining time we have to preach the gospel is quickly coming to an end. As our window of opportunity grows smaller, my desire to reach the lost grows greater.
My name is Joe Walker. The Lord has called my wife, Liz, and me to take the Good News of God's Son to the Amazon region. He has touched our hearts and has given us a great love for the people in that region.
One source I have states that there are 35,000 villages in this region that have not heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Although my wife and I can't personally reach every one of those villages, we feel an obligation through the love and calling of God to try our best to reach the villages that we are physically able to.
In the past few years, we have had the privilege of being a part of several mission trips to Peru and Ecuador. Since then, we have been responsible for raising the money to pay for three new churches and currently have several more churches that are being planned. Our goal is not only to build the churches, but to teach and disciple
them as well as pray for them.
We are working in coordination with several organizations, churches, and denominations to build as many churches as we can. We have built churches in Yungay (pictured to the right and below) and Palo Wimba. We currently
have a church that is under construction in Contamana.
We have done much work, but there is much more to be done. We need your help. If you would like to partner with us to reach the people of the Amazon Basin, please donate. Any amount is appreciated, no amount is too small. We are also available to come to your church for a slide presentation and to sing.
Thank you for your time and may God bless you.
